Apply to be a Speaking Examiner
Join GPEX's panel of Cambridge English Speaking Examiners. We administer exams across Malaysia — wherever there's a suitable, registered venue — so you could examine close to home or travel for a session. This online form replaces the paper application and declaration; GPEX keeps your signed declaration securely on file, as Cambridge English requires. It takes about 10 minutes.

Step 1 of 6: About you
About you
"Transferred" means you have previously been certified as a Speaking Examiner at another Cambridge Exam Centre.
Enter your name exactly as it appears on your NRIC or passport.
Your last name is your family name — the shared surname on your NRIC or passport (e.g. Lim, or the Bin / Binti or A/L / A/P part). Your first name is everything else. Prefer your family name first? Simply type it in the First name box — the preview shows how it reads.
For a foreigner, your passport number.
We match you to sessions near you. We may also contact you by WhatsApp.
We use this to match you to sessions near you, and it doubles as your LHDN e-Invoice (tax invoice) record for the examiner fees GPEX pays you.
Your LHDN TIN, if you have one — leave blank if not.
Your qualifications
Tell us about your degree and any teaching qualification. You can upload your CV or certificates now, or send them later.
Your experience
Cambridge sets a high bar for examiners. Tell us about your English and your teaching experience.
Your availability
Nothing here is binding — it helps us match you to sessions. Most exam days fall on weekends.
Based on the state in your mailing address.
A professional reference
We take up at least one reference as part of the suitability checks Cambridge requires.
Give us an email or a mobile number for your referee — either one is enough.
Your declaration
Please read and accept each declaration. Typing your name at the end counts as your signature.
